Turn all the noisy attention grabbers off so you can reset and be human again. They will automatically somehow turn themselves on again; it’s our culture.

We’re still going through an adjustment phase with social networking and someday filters, whether automatic or smart, will develop to curate a complementary flow of information. The idea is to help guide “content” with the intent to used as an informative tool to make larger assessments. One could actually do less and think/ feel more while in a meditative like state. I imagine this could happen sooner with our current technologies, but in the future nanotechnology will be more prevalent and be the conduit for an integrated computated mind assistance system. At the time when this technology exists, annoying notifications will be a thing of the past and instead we will be lightly nudged to pending considerations. One cannot be fully tapped into everything as it’s humanly impossible so design will again take an important role in an adaptive interface.

Do not let others define your success. Each is to define their own version of success. Define what it is to be a good father, good husband, person, etc… This goes further than what society’s definition is, but your own deeper meaning as you balance your own values. By setting your own version, you become an individual not predetermined by anyone pre-existing, but truly real to yourself. Only you know how to measure your true success, true happiness and understand what it is to be true to your own being.

Change is inevitable. You can try to hold on and stop it, you can also spearhead change to blaze a new reality, you can also let go and be one with it. Everything has it’s own lifeline. The babies you see today will outlive you, the rocks, stars and ocean will outlive everything. The one thing that is constant is the present; a present for you to enjoy if you simply choose to.
